Thomas Boucourt is an accomplished Banquet Manager and Senior Lecturer at the prestigious Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne (EHL) in Switzerland. With 25 years of industry experience, Thomas has dedicated his career to the pursuit of excellence in service, training, and hospitality management.

Thomas began his career working with caterers in his home region of Normandy, France. As his skills and knowledge grew, he began working with larger-scale events and fine dining caterers, applying his expertise globally from Paris to Australia. He joined EHL in 2011 and has served as the banquet manager since 2013, managing a variety of events, some with up to 1200 guests.

Passionate about hospitality service, Thomas enjoys sharing his world-class knowledge with students, helping them become emerging leaders in the industry. He finds immense fulfillment and beauty in creating grand events from an empty room and teaches his students the impact of the smallest service details on the ambiance, scene, and experience of a banquet event.
